Dick Heller is a nationally known 2nd Amendment advocate and a Proud Patriot of the U.S.A. D.C. vs. HELLER: began when the Dude was a Special Police Officer issued a side-arm to protect govt personnel & property but was dis-allowed ownership of a firearm to protect his own household. Eventually it hit him like a slap-in-the-face, Heller was living in a two-tiered system not unlike the old Soviet Union, right here in the “Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.”

BEGINNING: The case began with 6 Plaintiffs equally upset and working with that magnificent CATO Institute and when the Gun-Smoke finally cleared Heller was the last man standing to move forward to the High Court.

RESULT: That magnificent Supreme Court with it’s magnificent Justice Antonin SCALIA making the magnificent Stand for the Second Amendment with that Magnificent Constitutional Landmark Gun Decision on June 26, 2008 declared Firearms Ownership to be a Constitutional, Enumerated, Individual Right for all decent Citizens. Overturning the 1976 DC Gun Ban opened the door for over 50 new gun cases nationwide in the very first year and, NEXT. . .

NEXT: On the day The SCALIA Decision was announced, moments later Laura & Otis McDonald along with Colleen & Dave Lawson had their complaints filed in N. Dist. of Illinois Federal Court, McDONALD vs. CHICAGO. That subsequent Supreme Court Decision led to the “Incorporation” of HELLER or Gun Freedom in all of the U.S. and territories.

TRIFECTA: for Firearms Freedom was really felt by legitimate law-abiding Patriots when a long list of whimsical Un-Constitutional gun restrictions was eradicated in the case of N.Y.S. RIFLE & PISTOL ASSN. vs. A.G. BRUEN. The greatest element, of course, was the eradication of “may / might / could / possibly / nope / won’t ever-Issue” with the “Shall Issue” license to allow the God-Given Right to defend one’s life and household outside of ones’ residence.

TODAY: Heller’s most recent legal action is Complaint no. 20, against D.C. again, filed on March 14, 2025, Hall, Heller, et al, vs. DC Board of Elections, and accepted on June 20, No. 24-7050 (DC Circuit) to protect our Firearms Rights and our Paychecks from over-taxation by the illegal swelling of the voter rolls.
